House-lad

Tweet:

My husband and I had our first child last year; I go to work and he stays at home with the baby. I often get asked, ‘How is he doing with all that babysitting? Has it been hard to teach him how to take care of a baby?’ He’s her father. He doesn’t babysit, he PARENTS. And since he’s with her forty hours a week that I’m not, he’s frankly quite a bit better at taking care of her than I am.

Everyday Sexism. Laura Bates. 2014.
